Collection: Neuroma

Forefoot neuromas are a painful condition that affects the ball of your foot, most commonly the area between your third and fourth toes. It may feel as if you are standing on a pebble in your shoe or on a fold in your sock. It involves the inflammation of the tissue around one of the nerves leading to your toes.

They are often caused by tight shoes; if you have a neuroma, you need a shoe with a roomy or wide toe box. You would also likely benefit from footwear that features a metatarsal pad (extra cushioning and support under the balls of your feet). You also want to avoid tension on your calf, so you don’t want a shoe that is completely flat.

All dr LIZA shoes have orthotic insoles with metatarsal pads.

HELPFUL TIP: All dr LIZA footwear styles have built in orthotic insoles.
