Bunions

A bunion is a bony bump that can develop at the big toe joint. Bunions are associated with hallux valgus, a condition where the big toe drifts toward the smaller toes. You may also have a bunionette, which is similar to a bunion but develops at the smallest toe.

In the case of bunions and/or bunionettes, you need shoes with a roomy toe box that also help with overpronation (when your foot rolls inward as you walk and the arch of your foot collapses) since it can lead to hallux valgus.
